Black Girl Soccer creates inclusive, high-quality soccer experiences that build confidence, leadership, and lifelong skills for Black and Brown girls in Atlanta.
Why We Exist
Black Girl Soccer exists because representation, access, and early exposure matter. Too many girls of color are introduced to sports late or excluded from development pathways altogether. We are changing that narrative by creating safe, affirming spaces where girls can learn, lead, and thrive through soccer.
Our Vision
A future where girls of color feel seen, supported, and confident to pursue opportunity in sport and beyond.
Our Approach
We combine high-quality soccer instruction with social-emotional learning, leadership development, and community connection. Soccer is our tool, but confidence, belonging, and agency are the outcomes.
Serving Metro Atlanta
We are proudly based in Atlanta, serving girls and families across the Metro Atlanta area. While we do not currently operate from a single, designated field, our programming is intentionally mobile and community-based.
Our current service areas include:
Stone Mountain
College Park
Douglasville
And surrounding Metro Atlanta communities
This flexible approach allows us to reach more girls, reduce access barriers, and create safe, welcoming spaces throughout the city. Locations for each program or event are shared in advance so families always know where to go.
